INNOVATING FOR GROWTH

Senior Leadership Opportunities at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority

Welcome

The Liverpool City Region is world-famous for its history, culture and creativity. A place of firsts, it is the birthplace of modern railways, public health and international trade. Now, our economy is being transformed once again, changing the world through world-leading innovation in health and life sciences, digital and creative, and advanced manufacturing - growing an economy already worth £35 billion a year.

The Combined Authority plays a central role in catalysing this innovation-led economy. We are seizing the unique opportunity to use our devolved powers and funding to create wealth and prosperity for all our 1.6 million residents and the whole UK - investing in our economy, people, place, transport and digital infrastructure. Our vision is for the Liverpool City Region to be:

The best place to grow up, grow a family, and grow a business

- where no-one is left behind.

We are currently looking for four outstanding, inspirational and highly experienced people to play a key role in helping us deliver our vision.

Your role will be key in continuing our important work supporting the Mayor to deliver his priorities.

Since 2017, the power of devolution has delivered tens of thousands of new jobs; boosted the skills of people through apprenticeships and trained thousands more people through adult education funding.

We have helped homeless people, built new homes, supported underrepresented groups, delivered a multi-million housing retrofit scheme, funded community programmes and supported people back into quality jobs.

We are also transforming public transport. We are proud to have invested £500 million to bring our fleet of publicly owned trains into service and have ambitious plans for new train stations, bus reform and a new Mersey ferry.

We now want to take it to the next level.

Join us and be a part of our city region’s ongoing success story.

We look forward to receiving your application.
